REPORT ON TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
‘Teachers plant the seeds of knowledge that grow forever’.
The Teachers day celebrations were organized in Bilva Indian School with great enthusiasm and fervor. Students of grades I-VI were brimming with joy as they waited to meet their teachers and wish them. A Special Assembly was held wherein the students read self-composed poems and paid a heartfelt tribute to their teachers. The students had prepared cards and flowers for the Principal, Supervisors and all teachers. The students also gave inspirational speeches as they played the roles of three iconic figures in the field of education, Dr S Radhakrishnan, Helen Keller and Maria Montessori. They also sang a melodious song thanking teachers for their support and love. The Principal, Mr Richard Monteiro applauded and encouraged the students on their efforts. The latter part of the day was filled with fun and learning as grade VI students took over the roles of being teachers for the day. They taught in classes and also handled admin work as supervisors. The day was devoted to the celebration of the beautiful bond between students and teachers.
